Watch Episode 1: Where Our Story Begins

1999

Our journey began in 1999, driven by the conviction that all students should be given a chance at success. Starting with the establishment of our very first academic model, Eagle Charter School (now Premier High School), our primary mission was to combat the escalating dropout rates in public education. Our inception saw us deploy a unique, individualized school model across 15 campuses. Right from the beginning, we understood that there was a growing demand for this educational solution, especially amongst high school students who felt discouraged about acquiring their diploma or apprehensive about their preparedness for the workforce. Here at ResponsiveEd, we’re steadfast in our belief that everyone has potential, and we’re committed to providing a beacon of hope in education. Let our history inspire you to believe in the power of perseverance and the capacity to create change.

2007

Through Premier High Schools, we proved our proficiency and commitment to providing high-quality, flexible education solutions for the at-risk student population. In 2007, parents from the Hickory Creek community came to us, recognizing our unique ability to address diverse educational needs. Their faith in our competence and our promise of community-responsive action led us to open a new K–5 campus. This was the beginning of our Texas College Preparatory Academies, schools designed to provide excellence in education and cater to the aspirations of thousands of families.

2012

Once we were able to offer a drop-out recovery high school program, as well as a K–12 college prep option, we recognized the diverse needs and unique challenges of different communities, which inspired us to broaden our educational offerings. This allowed us to cater to a broader demographic, offering tailored educational programs meticulously designed to meet the specific demands of each community. More than just an academic institution, we committed ourselves to nurturing not only the intellectual capacities of our students but also emphasizing the importance of character and virtue. We aim to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundations necessary to emerge as upstanding citizens, fostering a brighter, more promising future for all.
